WINDAWIND is a Korean high-tech enterprise specialized in the development, manufacturing, installation, and sale of large-scale onshore, offshore, and intertidal wind turbines, which are adaptable to a variety of global environmental conditions and wind resources. As a Joint Venture between SINOVEL Wind Group Co., Ltd., the largest wind turbine manufacturing and constructing company in China, and Global Wind Energy Co., Ltd. (GWE), a leading renewable energy company based in South Korea, WINDAWIND is constructing a 180,000 square-meter manufacturing plant with an annual production capacity of 800MW in Jeollanamdo, Korea.
WINDAWIND’s wind turbines incorporate decades of Sinovel’s wind turbine manufacturing expertise and over 16GWs of track record with cutting-edge technologies from South Korea, and will be produced in South Korea beginning in 2022.
